Project feature: Canberra Celebrants

When Michael Bower started Canberra Celebrants, his schedule meant that he had to write wedding ceremonies, not blog posts.

So we helped him out by providing original monthly articles for his website on the topics of finding the best hidden gem to get married at, how to calm your nerves before the big day, and a starting place for writing vows.

We had recently rebranded Canberra Celebrants, so knew their tone of voice intimately. Each article spoke to couples who had recently become engaged, and were wondering where to start. They focussed on wedding ceremony specific content rather than wedding planning, and even covered personal accounts of happens when things don’t go to plan.

We complemented each article with a social media tile and post, creating meaningful and interesting content for this experienced group of Canberra professionals.

Our process

Every project, no matter the brief or scope, flows through our studio design process. We’ve honed our project management style to make sure we’re on the same page from the moment you engage us, right through to the final product.

  • We start by meeting with you to learn more about your business. Tell us everything – why you started it, who you serve, what experience you want them to have, and why you love what you do.

    We’ll discuss your project goals, a timeline, and the deliverables you need. If we haven’t already, we’ll provide a formal quote for your approval.

    If it’s our first time working together, we’ll provide our terms of engagement for your review and approval.

  • We’ll design a solution that answers your brief.

    Our policy is to present one concept because we would rather put all our effort into a solution that 100% answers the brief, rather than present two or three for the sake of extra choices that confuse your heart.

    The peace of mind that we can offer, is if this concept doesn’t light your fire, we’ll go back to brief and the drawing board.

  • You have up to two rounds of changes available to you if you need them. Have peace of mind knowing that we’ll keep working until it’s right, and we’ll always have a discussion with you about the goalposts if they’ve changed in the process.

  • After a final proofread and good feeling in your heart, we ask you to approve the finished product.

  • Leave it in our hands. We’ll work in the background to do final quality assurance and technical checks before delivering the files we agreed on.

  • If we’re managing the physical production for you, we’ll consult directly with the supplier(s) and manage all timelines on your behalf.

  • We’ll either arrange for your printed items or products to be sent directly to you, or to us first for quality assurance checks.

  • Once the dust has settled, we’ll check in on how your project has been received.
